Pupils

Pupils have an important part to play in helping their school make decisions. In this section you will find information about some of the activities your child takes part in during school. This may be as a representative in the School Council or as an active member of a School Club.

If you require further information on any of the items shown in this section, please contact the school and we will do our best to help.

School Clubs

A variety of activities are available before and after school. A full list of our Childcare Provision can be found on our website. Please contact the school for more information.

Before School Activities

Mrs Munroe and Teaching Assistants run the Breakfast Club from 8.10 am every morning.  There is a variety of food on offer including fruit, cereal, croissants and juice. Breakfast Club is now free thanks to Greggs.

If children do not require breakfast club, school is open at 8.57am for a prompt 9am start.

Enjoyment Activities – After School Clubs

After listening to children’s opinions, we offer a variety of after school clubs. Through enjoyment activities, we aim to foster healthy lifestyles, self-esteem and self-confidence. We also provide extra opportunities for children who may be gifted and talented in specific areas. For example: Mathematics, P.E and Drama.

Welcome to our School Council

Bearpark Primary has a very active school council. Children from Year 1 to Year 6 meet regularly to discuss important issues and ways in which school can be improved.

During council meetings children are given opportunities to share their views and ideas.

Bearpark School Council

School Councillors have met for the second time in January 2020. There are representatives from each class. Miss Jobson assists the School Council members.
